Wow Julia, this is really wonderful. I love your landscapes. You always do them so beautifully, the foloage, the water reflection and this time, the bathers :giggle:

Wow, this is fabulous. The colours match really well, the composition looks really good and the anatomy and colours are amazing.

I bought a cactus. A week later it died. And I got depressed, because I thought, Damn. I am less nurturing than a desert.

Thank you very much, *milbisous!! Honestly, I never even expected such comment about this painting. So much troubles. Even I am not sure that I shouldn't continue...

I just looked at it again, maybe the line of the spine, down to the buttocks, of the foreground bather should be a tiny bit toward her right. You could play with the shadow there maybe to fix it. That's the only thing I now noticed. But that is nothing compared to the whole painting which is very beautiful.

Thank you, *milbisous. I looked on the spine, if to imagine that she lift the hand, that compare to all body, spine line is in right place. What shadows you are talking?

In other words, it was very complicated for me.

Hmm...Are we talking about the same bather? Sorry if I do not make myself clearer. I refer to the one nearest to the viewer. To me, it seems like her left buttock above the water is kind of flat. Maybe if you move the shadow of the spine down to the middle of the buttocks, nudging that line a bit toward the right , making it look more like in the middle. I do not mean to nitpick. But because you said you had a hard time so I took a second look :D

... yes, the feeling of calm and a safe place to have a dip, beautiful :)
